This software designed for stock traders downloads end of day historical quotes of stocks and indices traded at US and international exchanges. It gives data output in a customizable ASCII format which is compatible the with most spreadsheet and charting / technical analysis software such as MetaStock, Omega TradeStation, Microsoft Excel and others. Stock quotes are simply stored on your hard drive for future research or charting with third party applications. NYSE, NASDAQ and AMEX exchanges data is available. No subscription fees - save money on stock quotes data feed. Up to 20 years of end of day quotes. 1-min, 5-min, 10-min historical intraday quotes are available at a limited dates range. Historical stock prices output is in plain text format contaning open, high, low, closing price and volume.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
